New York Welsh St. David's Day Celebration

New York Welsh is very pleased to announce our St. David’s Day Celebration at The Liberty NYC. The gastronomic sensation that is Illtyd Barrett will be creating a Sunken Hundred inspired menu with dishes from across Wales.

There will be entertainment, Welsh singing, an artistic unveiling, and maybe, just maybe, some Welsh beer to boot! We want to bring family, partners and friends of the Welsh community together to celebrate, so - if you have an interest in Wales and Celtic traditions, come join! - if you’re Welsh, American-Welsh or have visited Wales, come join! - if one of your parents visited Wales decades ago and there’s an unusual but distinct Celtic quality to your appearance that they can’t explain, come join!

Wales Week in New York

Wales Week in New York is an annual series of activities and events that celebrate and promote everything that's great about Wales. Through a calendar of events around St David's Day, which galvanizes existing Welsh communities in New York City, Wales Week in New York builds a positive momentum across the city that is distinctly about Wales.

This is an opportunity for organisations in Wales through which they can promote their products and services, and develop new New York-based audiences, partnerships and connections. So together, with the best in Welsh business, music, art, food, tourism, heritage, sport, public life and the media, we're promoting a fortnight of events that will collectively shout how good we truly are!
